After a few months of break and crazy Olympic games where the United States of America ended up as champions, it is about time to talk about club competitions. The NBA, the most dominant league in the world, started a few weeks ago.

Seven wins out of seven. We assume that every Thunder fan is proud and happy because of that situation. Some of those wins were pretty dominant, which is the reason why we believe that Oklahoma City has a very high chance of becoming a world champion.

They were amazing last season, but during the summer, they became even stronger. They brought Isaiah Hartenstein and paired him with Chet Holmgren. In our opinion, this is one of the best decisions they could make. What to say about Shai? Many people out there believe he deserved an MVP title last season. All these folks, together with Lu Dort, Jalen Williams, and Cason Wallace, look like a powerful team.

New York Knicks

It would be a shame not to put New York Knicks on this list. Although they really didn’t start well (3/3 in the first six games), that doesn’t mean they cannot reach the finals. Their roster is really powerful. Guard Jalen Bruson has great assistance from Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns. Just reading those three names in the same sentence tells a lot about the team. This team is ready to win big, and we are sure their form will improve in the next few weeks.

Denver Nuggets

Just like Nicks, the Nuggets did not start the season very well. Yet, Nikola Jokic is incredible so far. The triple-double horse enthusiast is strong enough to win every other team alone. Every other teammate plays much better when he is in a good mood.

Many youngsters on a team haven’t had the chance to play for more than 10 minutes per match. He is some sort of mentor to them, and it seems he is a good one. Plus, there is Westbrook to keep his back. We strongly believe these two can be amazing teammates.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Some people may say that Cleveland deserves to be on the top of this list. Indeed, we do understand why some of you may say that. Winning 8 games out of 8 is a perfect start of the season. In most of those games, Cavaliers have scored 120+ points, which only confirms their attacking potential. Garland and Mitchell are monsters and they often score 20+ points, which only confirms that they are true leaders.

The only thing experts are skeptical about is their consistency. We are yet to see whether they will manage to continue to play the same way as they have so far. However, if they really manage to keep the same quality or increase it over time, it would not be surprising to see them at the finals of Western Conference or even as NBA champions.

Dallas Mavericks

Give us one reason not to put Dallas on this list. Even last season, they were perfect. Unfortunately, it was noticeable that their game directly depended on the performance of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. The good news is that the general manager realized that, which is why they brought Klay Thompson to their team. Without any doubt, we will see an amazing 3-shoot competition *and many open shots, we believe).

We know that most Mavericks players expected a much better beginning of the season. However, their performance will only grow. We must not neglect the impact Marshall and Gafford have. The squad looks like a mini-dream team!

Conclusion

These predictions aren’t based on our personal opinion. We have only taken into consideration multiple factors that provided us with some answers. As we said, it is still early to give more precise answers. However, Boston really looks powerful and it really has the biggest odds to repeat the previous season.
