Local middle and high school students will perform at the upcoming All-City Choir Concert.

The event features a combined choir performance from students representing the Lawrence school district’s four middle schools and two high schools. Those students, according to a news release from the district, have been prepping for a collaborative ensemble performance that will be conducted by Melissa Grady, an associate professor of music education and director of university singers at the University of Kansas.

The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Lied Center, 1600 Stewart Drive. According to the Lied Center website, admission is free, and proceeds from any donations will benefit the All-City Choir Fund.
