Lawrence City Manager Craig Owens to speak at upcoming Women for Kansas meeting

Lawrence City Manager Craig Owens will be the guest speaker at the upcoming chapter meeting of Women for Kansas of Lawrence/Douglas County.

Women for Kansas is a nonpartisan statewide organization. An announcement regarding the group’s June meeting states that attendees will have an opportunity to hear from and speak with Owens as part of the meeting.

The meeting will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon on June 3 at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vermont St. The meeting is open to the public.
