The Douglas County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council is seeking input about the community’s mobile response for those experiencing mental illness and addictions.

Members of the Douglas County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council’s Mobile Access Team are seeking information from the community about its experiences, according to an announcement. The team also would like to hear recommendations about what the ideal response would look like.

The virtual listening session will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday via Zoom, and is accessible at douglascountyks.org/cjcchub.

The session will be facilitated by Alex Kimball Williams, who is the health equity planner for Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health, and will help inform community work, budget proposals and pilot projects.
