The Veritas Christian baseball team battled back to tie it with a run in the top of the seventh, but Advanced Baseball Academy earned a 6-5 walk-off win over the Eagles in the KCICI tournament on Tuesday at Mid America Sports Complex in Shawnee.

Rondre Diederich and Cody Heiland both collected three hits and drove in a run to lead the Eagles (10-9). Kammal Dowdell and Levi Hawkins added two hits apiece.

Veritas out-hit ABA, 12-7, but the Eagles committed three errors that led to runs.
