Veritas baseball slugs past Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy, 11-8

The Veritas Christian baseball team had five players record multi-hit games in an 11-8 win over Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy on Monday at the Orlis Cox Sports Complex.

Draven Webb went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs, two runs scored and two stolen bases to lead the Eagles. Jackson Rau, Kammal Dowdell, Levi Hawkins and Cody Heiland added two hits apiece.

The Eagles grabbed a 4-0 lead in the first, but the Ravens answered with four in the second to tie it. Veritas (8-8) had another four-run inning in the fifth to take an 11-6 lead.
