Free State golfer Landon Berquist shot an 80 at the Shawnee Mission East Invitational on Monday, finishing in a tie for 21st place at the Kansas City Country Club.

Behind Berquist’s performance, the Firebirds placed 13th in the team standings. Lawrence High was 19th, led by junior Ross Brungardt, who shot an 87 and placed 66th.
