Free State High’s girls soccer team snapped a six-game losing streak Thursday with a 1-0 road victory in overtime at Topeka Hayden.

Sophomore Julia Larkin scored the game-winning goal, assisted by Maya Hodison.

The Firebirds (6-9-1) will learn of their regional schedule Saturday.
