Prep bigs Maker and Ayton to play for World Team
Louisville, Ky. ? Two of the top big men in the country, senior Thon Maker and junior DeAndre Ayton, who both are considering attending Kansas, will play for the World Team in the Nike Hoop Summit, set for April 9 in Portland, Ore.
Maker hails from Sudan and Ayton is from Bahamas.
Also on the World Team is Arizona signee Lauri Markkanen of Finland, son of former KU center Pekka Markkanen.
The U.S. team includes KU targets Josh Jackson, Terrance Ferguson and Jarrett Allen. Head coach of the U.S. team is L.J. Goolsby of KC Run GMC.
