Free State boys rout Chrisman
Independence, Mo. ? Free State High’s boys basketball team raced to a 20-point halftime lead and cruised to a 70-49 rout against William Chrisman (Mo.) on Saturday.
FSHS seniors Hunter Gudde and Chrision Wilburn scored 13 points each, while junior Jay Dineen added 11 points.
The Firebirds (13-5, ranked No. 9 in Class 6A) will play host to Shawnee Mission West at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
