Letter: Ninth Street plans
To the editor:
Wouldn’t it be nice if the so-called Ninth Street Corridor ended at Delaware Street with, oh, maybe a mental health facility or a neighborhood grocery store or a rec center or a bit of green space instead of just turning Ninth Street into more of what it is becoming — galleries acting like open bars, buskers begging on street corners and banners proclaiming that the street is not an entertainment center.
And on this coming Halloween night, just tell the kids going to the neighborhood school for after-dark activities that the people wandering around are folks from all across the USA come to see the art on East Ninth Street. Right.
