Sunday’s memorial service for former Kansas University Chancellor Robert Hemenway will be streamed online and also broadcast at the Lied Center, where overflow seating will be available, KU announced this week.

KU will provide the live video stream at journalism.ku.edu/live/doleinstitute.

The memorial service for Hemenway, who died July 31 in Lenexa, is set for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Dole Institute of Politics, 2350 Petefish Drive. A reception will follow in the Lied Center’s Kemper Foyer, the Lied’s main lobby.

In lieu of flowers, the Hemenway family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Robert E. Hemenway Scholarship fund, handled by the KU Endowment Association.

Hemenway was KU’s 16th chancellor and served from 1995 to 2009.
