The KU Youth Chorus will begin its 10th season at Kansas University with an initial meeting and rehearsal at 4:30 p.m. Oct 16 in room 328 of Murphy Hall.

KUYC provides youth participants a professionally organized singing experience and a laboratory environment for graduate and undergraduate music students.

KUYC is open to all children in grades four to eight. No auditions are necessary, however membership costs $65 for the season, which lasts from Oct. 16, 2014 to May 7, 2015. The participating child and parent or guardian must attend the initial meeting on Oct. 16 for registration.

Weekly rehearsals run from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Thursdays. For more information, click here or email dhedden@ku.edu.
