KU receives $2.9 million grant to help vulnerable youth
Researchers in Kansas University’s School of Social Welfare have been awarded a $2.9 million grant for partnering with agencies across the state to serve young, vulnerable children and strengthen families affected by substance abuse.
The grant comes from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families, according to a KU news release.
The focus of the partnerships will be to improve the safety and well-being of children up to age 3.
