Sunny day to stay cold

The National Weather Service’s forecast of flurries ended at 11 a.m.; the rest of the day is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 18. We’ll feel the chill from a 15 mph north wind, especially as the wind picks up, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tonight we will see partly cloudy skies, with a low around 4 (electric blankets, activate!). Wind chill values are expected to be between 2 below and 7 below zero. The north wind will continue to blow about 5 to 15 mph.

The sun will come out on Wednesday, and a high near 23 degrees is expected. Wind chill values will be between 8 below zero and 2. The northwest wind of 5 to 10 mph will become southwest in the afternoon.
