Hy-Vee stores to host fundraiser for cancer cure
Hy-Vee stores in Lawrence will sell lemonade and collect donations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 31 and June 1 in an effort to raise money to help nonprofit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer find a cure for childhood cancer.
Hy-Vee stores in the Kansas City region will participate, and the foundation has a goal to raise $100,000 over the two days.
The Lawrence stores participating are located at 3504 Clinton Parkway and 4000 W. Sixth St.
