Downtown motorists will face delays near the area of Sixth and New Hampshire streets beginning on Tuesday.

The city will close the northbound lane of New Hampshire Street as it approaches the intersection and the westbound lane of Sixth Street between New Hampshire and Massachusetts Streets. The closures are to allow construction to perform concrete work on the street and curbs in the area. The work is expected to close the lanes for one week. During the time period, entry and exit from the Riverfront Parking Garage will be limited to the Rhode Island exit off of Seventh Street.
