Free State High senior golfer Grace Brahler recently was named to the six-girl All-Sunflower League second team.

Brahler, whose crowning achievement of the 2009 season was winning her Class 6A regional tournament by shooting an 80 at Painted Hills Golf Course, was a four-year varsity regular for the Firebirds and the team’s undisputed No. 1 player throughout her senior season.

Brahler was the only golfer from Lawrence named to this year’s All-Sunflower League squads, which were released Friday.
