Lawrence Memorial Hospital encourages people to celebrate Valentine’s Day by getting their hearts checked and by learning about what makes them tick.

LMH is having its annual Healthy Hearts Fair from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 14 on the lower level of the hospital, 325 Maine.

There will be information about how to prevent and treat cardiovascular disease.

The hospital also will provide an array of screenings such as blood pressure, body fat and stroke risk.

They are offering a low-cost full cholesterol screening for $20 if registered by today, and for $25 at the door.
