Lawrence-based Scott Winer Productions (SWP) is set to unveil the company’s first ever Web comic, “The Adventures of Little Scottie,” today at www.littlescottie.com. The project was created by Todd Pickrell, an industrial design major at Kansas University, and Scott Winer, founder of SWP and a 2008 KU graduate. The comic chronicles the life and times of Little Scottie, “a young boy with poor luck,” according to Pickrell. The look of the character, with the body of a child and the facial features of an adult, is based on Winer, who says, “With it being a little kid, we’ll be able to make light of issues that would otherwise come off as more serious.” A new comic will be released every Friday.
