ROTC to conduct Blackhawk exercise
The Kansas University Army ROTC will conduct a helicopter exercise with a Topeka National Guard Aviation Unit beginning at 3 p.m. today at Lawrence Municipal Airport.
Cadets will work with the 1-108th AVN to learn proper procedures for loading and unloading a Blackhawk helicopter. Cadets will also have the opportunity to fly in a Blackhawk and experience what helicopter operations involve.
