LMH to discuss diabetes risks
Lawrence Memorial Hospital will conduct a free class Tuesday to educate people about the risks of Type 2 diabetes.
The class will discuss the best practices of dieting, exercising and weight loss to prevent or delay Type 2 diabetes. It will also include information on diabetes medication and complications that can arise from the disease.
People who are at risk of developing Type 2 diabetes, as well as people who have received pre-diabetes diagnoses, are encouraged to attend the class from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Meeting Room A at the hospital, 325 Maine.
