Walt Hull, Kate Dinneen, and Mianne Irick of Walt Hull Iron Work, Pleasant Grove, are participating in the annual conference of the Blacksmiths Association of Missouri, set for May 1-3 at the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia, Mo.

The conference, working under the theme of “For Love of the Craft,” will feature demonstrators from England, Germany, Israel and the Czech Republic, plus smiths from throughout the U.S. including a team from Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia.

Hull will oversee a gallery showcasing metal sculpture, furniture, knives and other crafted objects. Dinneen is helping coordinate the event, and Irick is scheduled to assist demonstrators.
