Kansas University students who support Sen. Barack Obama’s bid for the Democratic nomination for president will have a tailgate party before Saturday’s football game against Toledo.

Interested students are invited to the 1 p.m. tailgate at 1015 Ill., where they can meet other Obama supporters and discuss how to get involved in the 2008 elections. The election process begins with the Iowa caucuses, which are in January.

The students are part of a new group, Students for Obama, which has chapters at colleges and high schools across the country.
