KU ROTC to practice ‘escape and evade’ procedures
Kansas University’s Army ROTC cadets will take part in an escape and evade training program on KU’s West Campus from 2:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. today.
The cadets will be in combat uniforms but will not be carrying weapons. The training is designed to teach troops to work undercover, behind enemy lines until they can return to friendly territory.
The training will take part mostly in wooded areas but at some points they may be visible to passersby.
