Care for kids
To the editor:
There have been lots of stories about people adopting a local family or contributing to the Salvation Army during this holiday season, and I applaud that, but instead of toys and sweaters and ham dinners, we should be telling our legislators to give our children universal health care coverage and to mandate a living wage for their parents so that children can have what they need all year long.
