City agenda changes

Commissioners have pulled from tonight’s City Commission meeting a discussion about the Neighborhood Revitalization Program.

Commissioners agreed to defer discussion because some neighborhood leaders are unable to attend tonight’s meeting. The program would provide up to a 95 percent property tax rebate on the value of improvements made in the downtown and other designated neighborhoods.

A new date to discuss the program hasn’t been set.

Commissioners also are rescheduling an executive session originally set for the end of the meeting. The session, to discuss matters related to the acquisition of real estate, now will begin at 5:40 p.m.

The regular portion of the meeting will begin at 6:35 p.m. at City Hall, Sixth and Massachusetts streets.
