Boston ? Boston is a possible destination for former Kansas University forward/center Scot Pollard, the Boston Herald reported Wednesday.

Coach Doc Rivers said the Celtics were “very interested” in Dikembe Mutombo as a backup center, while P.J. Brown, Michael Ruffin, Calvin Booth and Pollard also were under consideration.

Pollard, a 10-year NBA veteran, played for Cleveland in a limited role last season.
