KU will hold classes Tuesday

Kansas University will reopen tomorrow following Sunday’s storm, which did about $6 million damage to campus buildings, according to early estimates.

Students will still be restricted from some areas that have not been completely repaired, university officials said.

Danforth Chapel will be closed until further notice.

Robinson Center’s basketball and recreational courts on the west side of the building will be closed due to roof damage, though other areas of the building will be open.

Access to Snow Hall will be restricted to entrances off Jayhawk Blvd. and Poplar Lane.

Fraser Hall’s east entrance also will be closed.
