Independence Inc. seeks nominations
Independence Inc. is seeking nominations for its Community Access Awards and the organization’s Roger Williams Community Access Award.
Nominations are sought to recognize exemplary employees who happen to be people with disabilities, and employers who have made significant contributions to the employment of people with disabilities.
The deadline for nominations is July 6. Employees in Douglas, Jefferson and Franklin counties are eligible.
Awards will be presented July 26. The ceremony, at 2001 Haskell Ave., will include an open house from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
