Man charged in death of wife’s ex-husband

? A former Stanton County man has been charged with killing his wife’s ex-husband.

Chad Floyd, 27, was charged Wednesday with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the May 20, 2005, death of Michael Golub, 27, of Johnson City in southwest Kansas.

Floyd’s wife, Shannon, 27, was previously charged with the same counts.

Chad Floyd was arrested in Burlington, Colo., and Shannon Floyd was arrested in Cascade, Mont., on June 22.

Both waived extradition and were being held in the Stanton County Jail.

Golub disappeared May 20, 2005, after leaving his job to pick up his son at Shannon Floyd’s home. His pickup was found May 26, 2005, on a county road in northwest Grant County, but his body has never been found.
