KU’s School of Fine Arts has announced “La Musique Française,” a seminar in French organ music, from Wednesday to Saturday.

“La Musique Française” is a four-day conference that includes topics on the musical life of organist Jehan Alain and his family. Author Aurelie Alain Decourt, who wrote a biography titled “Jehan Alain,” will discuss her new book at the conference. In addition, various performances are planned at Bales Organ Recital Hall, including the complete organ works of Jehan Alain.
