Lawrence High and Free State High were vying for the conference title in the Sunflower cross country meet Saturday. Although neither of the two schools took home the title, both schools did well. In the girl’s race, Lawrence High placed third while Free State placed sixth. In the boy’s race, Lawrence High placed second while Free State placed third.
