Larry Dale Roberts, Lawrence
Services for Larry Dale Roberts, 62, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, at University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan.
He was born April 10, 1942, in Lawrence, the son of Charles Lee and Telsia Callahan Roberts.
He worked for the city of Lawrence as a water operator at the water plant for 23 years. He worked part-time as a drywall finisher.
He was a member of Tri-County Rod and Gun Club.
Survivors include a brother, Charles L. Jr., Oskaloosa; and two sisters, Eula Reynolds and May Abel, both of Lawrence.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or Hospice Care in Douglas County, sent in care of the mortuary.
