Shultz-Castro
Callie Loreen Shultz and Paul Michael Castro, both of Lawrence, were married May 29, 2004, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence with the Rev. James Shaughnessy officiating.

Paul and Callie Castro
The bride is the daughter of Lynn Wilson Shultz and Jim and Mary Shultz, all of Lawrence. The groom is the son of Louis and Donna Castro, Shawnee. The bride’s grandparents are Loyd and Colleen Wilson, Topeka.
Maid of honor was Elizabeth Tuckel. Best man was Lee Davidson. Bridesmaids were Yemi Adeyanju, Angela Agustin, Jennifer Keene and Juleah Stenberg. Groomsmen were Bradly Johnson, Richard Lumley Jr., Chris Richmond and Arthur Sutherland.
Personal attendants were Kari Balthazor and Barb Wells. Flower girl was Sydney Marney. Ring bearer was Hunter Martin. Ushers were Frank Castro, Mark Castro, Von Freeman and Craig Shultz. Candle lighters were Courtney Lumley and Dulce Shultz. Program attendants were Jenny Hohman and Lindsey Lumley. Guest book attendants were Julie Castro and Tessa Shultz. Readers were Andrea Gillett, Valerie Lumley and Lisa Martin.
Immediately after the ceremony was a cocktail hour at the church hosted by Kim Gabriel and Pat Shultz. A reception, buffet and dance followed at the Lawrence Country Club. The couple took a honeymoon trip to Rome and Capri, Italy.
The bride graduated from Lawrence High School in 1997. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in business in 2001 and Master of Business Administration degree in 2003 from Kansas University.
The groom graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 1989. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1990 to 1994, participating in the first Gulf War from 1990 to 1991 and in Somalia in 1993. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in visual communications from Kansas University in 1998.
The couple reside in Lawrence.
Webster-Stoppel
Alaina Webster, Lawrence, and Jon Stoppel, St. Charles, Mo., were married June 19, 2004, at Lawrence Free Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Bump officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Marc and Diana Webster, Ellsworth. The groom is the son of Dr. Larry and Nancy Stoppel, Washington.
Maid of honor was Miranda Bickford. Best man was Christopher Stoppel. Bridesmaids were Kendra Staley, Christa Webster, Erica Webster and Erinn Roos. Groomsmen were Robert Pape, Jerry Baker, Elizabeth Baskerville and Brett Koons.
Ushers were John Chaffee, Devon Gibbs and Richard Baskerville. Ring bearer was Alex LaBranche. Flower girls were Emily LaBranche and Mackenzie Tade. Candle lighters were Alexandra Stoppel and Kristin Williams. Pianist was Lori Stamm. Logan Stoppel was program attendant. Teresa Baskerville was guest book attendant.

Alaina Webster and Jon Stoppel
A reception followed the ceremony at SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Lawrence.
The bride is an Ellsworth High School graduate. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and history in 2004 from Kansas University.
The groom is a Washington High School graduate. He received a Bachelor of General Studies degree in human biology in 2003 from KU. He is pursuing a doctorate in optometry at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
The couple took a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean. They reside in St. Charles, Mo.
Kalb-Finch
Megan Rose Kalb, Wellsville, and Aaron Ty Finch, Garden City, were married Sept. 4, 2004, at First United Methodist Church, Baldwin, with the Rev. Kathy Symes officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Kermit and Margaret Kalb, Wellsville. The groom is the son of Jerry and Ila Finch, Garden City.
Matron of honor was Cassie Scripter. Best man was Adam Cadell. Bridesmaids were Ashlea Landes, Jamie Jones and Elizabeth Sanderson. Groomsmen were Andy Kincaid, Bobby Kincaid and Thurman Brown.
Junior bridesmaids were Haley Finch and Samantha Lenning. Candle lighters were Callie Schultz and Katie Copeland. Ushers were Kenneth Kalb, Stephen Kalb and Forrest Brown.
Vocalist was Jess LeDoux. Organist was Bob Kahle. Marla Metsker attended the guest book, and Tara Gable was gift attendant. Vicki Ulrich was the bride’s personal attendant.

Aaron and Megan Finch
A reception was given at the Wingert’s. Hosts and hostesses for the reception were David and LuAnn Metsker and Floyd and Sue Schmidt. Cake servers were Glenna McKinney, Stacey Herschell and Gera Finch.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Baldwin High School. She plans to graduate from Kansas State University in December with a degree in apparel marketing.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Garden City High School. He graduated from Garden City Community College with a degree in farm management in 2002. He is employed by Sunflower Electric in Holcomb.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas. They reside in Garden City.
Lankford-Bauerle
Kellie Ann Lankford and Dustin Allen Bauerle, both of Lawrence, were married June 19, 2004, at First Southern Baptist Church, Lawrence, with the Rev. James Bush officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Wayland and Patsy Lankford, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Larry Jr. and Lori Bauerle, Nickerson.
Maid of honor was Janet Stephens, and matron of honor was Patty Hamel. Best men were Jarrett Bauerle and Tyson Bauerle. Bridesmaids were Heather Baker, Stephanie Laurentia and Kelly Stoll. Groomsmen were Allen Lankford, Tim Swindoll and Nick Kostner.
Ushers were Brandon Bowman and Ian Bradt. Scripture readers were Stuart and Susan Bell. Guest book attendants were Lydia Windheuser and Kristen Jordan. Special musicians included Phil Wizer, Elizabeth Rowell, Steed Bell and Sharon Johnson.
A reception was given after the ceremony at Steve’s Place in Lawrence.

Kellie and Dustin Bauerle
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Lawrence High School. She plans to receive a degree in music education from Kansas University in May 2005.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Nickerson High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in music from KU in 2004 and is employed by Lawrence public schools.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They reside in Lawrence.
Carswell-Farmer
Amber Carswell and Jeremy Farmer, both of Pomona, were married June 12, 2004, at Faith Lutheran Church in Ottawa with the Rev. Bob Miller officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Russell Carswell, Great Bend, and Richard and Lori Bell, Pratt. The groom is the son of Jim Farmer, Tecumseh, and Lori Farmer, Lawrence.
Matron of honor was Paige Carswell. Best man was Jordan Farmer. Bridesmaids were Danielle Miller and Jennifer Bell. Groomsmen were Joshua Perme and Daniel Pears. Ushers were Matt Farmer, Travis Farmer and Jesse Dickerhoof. Darleen Wooters was organist. Guest book attendant was Caleb Soden. Sarah Bell was flower girl.
A reception was given at Faith Lutheran Church fellowship hall.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Pomona High School. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in youth ministries at Global University and a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education at Evergreen College. She is a toddler teacher at Kindercare, San Jose, Calif.

Jeremy and Amber Farmer
The groom is a 2001 Lawrence High School graduate. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in youth ministries at Global University. He is a youth pastor at City Harvest Church in San Jose, Calif.
The couple reside in San Jose, Calif.
