I couldn’t help but wonder how silly I looked to passers-by as I lay belly down in a sea of dandelions along a country road waiting for a cyclist to pass by on the bike path. An occasional wave informed drivers that, yes, I was alive.
I set my camera’s shutter speed to 1/50 of a second to render the cyclist as a slight blur and set a corresponding f-stop of f22. After 20 minutes, a cyclists whizzed by. I pressed the shutter and made the picture I’d been waiting for.
