Effort to put smoking ban on ballot begins Tuesday
Opponents of the city’s new smoking ban will gather Tuesday to kick off a petition drive that would force the issue to a citywide referendum.
“It’s for anybody interested in carrying a petition,” said Phil Bradley, who is helping organize the effort.
The Appeal to Reason and Tolerance Coalition will meet at 7 p.m. in the American Legion, 3408 W. Sixth St.
