This time, it’s Meredith’s turn on “The Bachelorette” (8 p.m., ABC). But will the statuesque Oregonian be able to maintain her dark, moody allure? She was the sad girl of the last “Bachelor,” owing much of her mystique and appeal to the death of her grandmother. She also was surrounded by a bevy of would-be cheerleaders. Any woman might seem cool in a crowd that included Kelly Jo. As usual, 25 willing Romeos will arrive by the limo-load, but only 15 will receive a rose.

• “The Apprentice” (7 p.m., NBC) moves to its Wednesday-night slot this week, bumping “Ed” over to Friday nights. Wasn’t Ed the guy who couldn’t make it in Manhattan?

While there’s no doubt that this Trumped-up reality business board game has become water-cooler fodder, I have my doubts about the “best and brightest” status of its contestants. How could Kwame, the VersaCorp location scout (who works on Wall Street, in Manhattan, FYI) set up a lemonade stand next to a fish market where the crowds thin out at about 7 a.m. and don’t return until after working hours, when office workers are in need of something stronger than fruit drinks? And how could Protege team leader Erika (a native New Yorker who supposedly learned her business smarts at her dad’s pizza parlor) not know her East Side from her West Side? And how many times can Donald Trump use the phrase “huge salary”?

• “Dominick Dunne’s Power, Privilege and Justice” (9 p.m., Court TV) anticipates the Martha Stewart trial with a brief biography of the lifestyle mogul and interviews with federal attorneys pursuing her case. Dunne, who repeatedly admits that he admires Stewart and considers her a friend, shows considerable sympathy for Stewart and wonders if her legal ordeal may create more sympathy for her than ever before.
