The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron and Diane Ash, Lawrence, and Biagio Pagano, Kansas City, Kan. She is a 1999 Lawrence High School graduate. She received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Nebraska. She is completing the first year of a two-year fellowship given by the University of Nebraska for graduate work in nutritional science.
The prospective groom is the son of Cathy and Gerri Kieckhoefer, St. Croix Falls, Wis., and the late Paul Miron. He is a 1999 St. Croix Falls High School graduate. He received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Nebraska. He is a personal trainer with Prairie Life Fitness Center, Lincoln, Neb.
The couple plan a June 12 wedding in Lincoln, Neb.
Ash-White
Lauren Amber Ash and Brian Thomas White, both of Scottsdale, Ariz., announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron and Diane Ash, Lawrence, and Nancy and John Shamy, Scottsdale, Ariz. She graduated in 1999 from Chaparral High School, Scottsdale, Ariz. She received a bachelor’s degree in education from Arizona State University. She is a fourth-grade teacher at Freedom Academy in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The future groom is the son of Bruce and Claire White, Scottsdale, Ariz. He is a 1999 Chaparral High School graduate. He is a pilot studying professional flight management at Arizona State University and plans to be a commercial pilot.
The couple plan an October wedding in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Tara Anya Simone Pagano and Dr. William Lee Freund Jr., both of Greenville, N.C., announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron and Diane Ash, Lawrence, and Biagio Pagano, Kansas City, Kan. She is a 1996 Lawrence High School graduate. She received a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Kansas University Medical Center. She is employed at Therapeutic Concepts in Greenville, N.C.
The future groom is the son of Connie Freund, Prairie Village, and Dr. William Freund, Salina. He is a 1993 graduate of Shawnee Mission North High School. He received a degree in medicine from Kansas University Medical Center. He is a surgery resident at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville, N.C.
The couple plan a September wedding in Parkville, Mo.
Lankford-Bauerle
Wayland and Patsy Lankford, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kellie Ann Lankford, Lawrence, to Dustin Allen Bauerle, Lawrence, son of Larry and Lori Bauerle Jr., Nickerson.
The bride-to-be graduated from Lawrence High School in 2001 and plans to graduate in 2005 from Kansas University with a degree in music education.
The future groom graduated from Nickerson High School in 1999 and plans to graduate in May from KU with a degree in music. He plans to pursue an advanced degree in music ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
