Ethan Joseph Nave

? Services for Ethan Joseph Nave, 12, McLouth, will be noon Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Leavenworth. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery south of Tonganoxie.

Ethan died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, at the scene of a single-vehicle accident near Oskaloosa.

He was born Feb. 25, 1990, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Joseph O. and Cheryl Ann (Caldwell) Nave. He lived in the McLouth area all his life.

He was a seventh-grade student at Oskaloosa Middle School and formerly attended McLouth elementary schools. He was a member of the Oskaloosa Middle School wrestling team, and he participated in the McLouth summer baseball league.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Leavenworth and of Boy Scout Troop No. 3.

Survivors include his parents, of the home; a brother, Michael, Las Vegas; three sisters, Rachael Nave, Kansas City, Mo., Christina Nave and Hannah Nave, both of the home; grandparents Roma Nave, Tonganoxie, Alan and Joyce Caldwell, Overland Park; and great-grandmother Grace Daneker, Overland Park.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Monday at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, or from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the church. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.
