The following events and construction projects may affect commuter traffic this week in the region:

U.S. Highway 75, at 46th Street, traffic detoured through a roundabout for construction.

Kansas University men’s basketball vs. Texas A&M, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Allen Fieldhouse, KU campus.

KU men’s basketball vs. Oklahoma State, noon Saturday, Allen Fieldhouse, KU campus.

The following city projects could affect traffic this week:

North Michigan, no through traffic north of the Wood Creek Townhomes entrance to Riverridge Road for road improvements.

North Eighth Street and North Ninth Street railroad crossings, closed to through traffic for railroad intersection repair.

19th Terrace; 20th Street; 20th Terrace; 21st Street, Stewart Avenue to east of Naismith Drive; and Ousdahl Road, 19th Street to 21st Street, closed to through traffic for storm sewer improvements.

Haskell Avenue, Lynn Street to 19th Street, occasional narrowed lanes both northbound and southbound for waterline installation.

31st Street, Ousdahl Road to Iowa Street, traffic reduced to one lane each direction for road improvements. Turn lanes remain open.
