Lichelle and Brian Fuchs
Lichelle DeAnn Dillehay, Lawrence, and Brian Christopher Fuchs, Grandview, Mo., were married June 14, 2003, at First United Methodist Church, Lawrence, with the Rev. Sharon Howell officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ann Dillehay, Lawrence, and the late Dennis Dillehay. The groom is the son of Jim and Alleen Fuchs, Paola.
Maid of honor was Lori Dillehay. Best man was Greg Fuchs. Bridesmaid was Cammie Johnson. Groomsman was Mark Fuchs.
Ushers were Josh Gregor and Joe Rockford. Aimee Hatfield was flower girl. Matthew Fuchs was ring bearer. Erin Fuchs and Alissa Hatfield were candle lighters. Tammy Harrod was guest book and program attendant. Ange White was gift table attendant. Organist was Dan Abrahamson. Soloist was Carol Abrahamson. Bubbles were handed out by Becky Fuchs and Riley Fuchs.
A reception followed at the church.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a bachelor of arts in elementary and early childhood education in 1997 from Ottawa University. She is working at First Med.
The groom is a 1988 Paola High School graduate and is enlisted in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He received a bachelor of science in business management in 1998 from Emporia State University. He is a scanning coordinator at Hy-Vee in Lenexa.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

Melissa Reinhard Browning and Michael Browning
Melissa Christine Reinhard and Michael Craig Browning, both of Lawrence, were married May 10, 2003, at First United Methodist Church, Ottawa, with the Rev. Jim Stigall officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Christine Reinhard, Lawrence, and the late Jeffery Reinhard. The groom is the son of Greg and Carol Thyr, Ottawa.
Maid of honor was Lori Pott. Best man was Bryan Browning. Bridesmaids were Amy VanGels, Lana Guilfoyle, Jodie Pogge, Hannah Thyr and Maggie Thyr. Groomsmen were Kevin Brown, Bart Yost, Bob Peckel and Justin Ripley.
Ellen Thyr was flower girl. Dominic Pedrotty was ring bearer. Greg Thyr and Rosemary Russell were readers.
A reception followed at Alvamar Country Club in Lawrence.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a bachelor of arts in psychology in 2002 from Kansas University. She is pursuing a paralegal degree.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Ottawa High School. He received a bachelor of science in science and nursing in 2002 from Baker University. He works for Overland Park Regional Medical Center in the intensive care unit.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

Vicki Collie and Eric Akers were married May 31, 2003, at Danforth Chapel on Kansas University’s campus with the Rev. Rick Clock officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Gerry and Kim Collie, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Jim and Jan Akers, Baldwin.
Christy Rieder and Jenna Oakes were maids of honor. Mike Akers and Don Harvey were best men. Kyle Breneman was ring bearer. Flower girl was Christy Breneman. Jana Tuttle and James Mauro were ushers. Tyler Tillman and Mason Tillman were candle lighters. Readers were Sarah Harper and Shannon Akers. Soloist was Christy Rieder. Sarah Harper was guest book attendant.
A reception was held at the Masonic Temple and a barbecue was held at Broken Arrow Park.
The bride is a 1997 Lawrence High School graduate. She received a bachelor’s degree in social work in 2001 from Kansas University and a master’s degree in public health from St. Louis University in 2003. She is employed by the Kansas City Chronic Disease Coalition as an initiative coordinator.
The groom is a 1995 Lawrence High School graduate. He received a bachelor’s degree in computer science in 2001 from Kansas University. He is pursuing a master’s degree.
The couple reside in Lenexa.
Powell-Brownback

Susie and Jeff Brownback
Susie Powell and Jeff Brownback were married July 4, 2003, at the Topeka Reformed Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bill Vogler officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Janice Powell, Topeka, and the late Darrel Powell. The groom is the son of Dave and Sheryl Brownback, Ellsworth.
Matron of honor was Mindy Duell. Best man was Doug Brownback. The bride’s attendants were Liz Yoder, Lindsey Morrissey and Jillian Sherwood. Groomsmen were Alex Martin, Clint Colberg and Will Haney. Ushers were Shannon Keller, Tom Brownback, Fred Griffith and Nick Wobker.
Shelly Keller escorted the flower girls, Joelie Duell and Jessa Keller, down the aisle. Scott Wilson was ring bearer. Jordan Wilson and Erin Wilson distributed programs and favors. Grace Wu was guest book attendant. Tina Hervey was the bride’s assistant.
An outdoor reception was held at the home of Dr. Don and Kim Wilson. Aunts of the couple were reception hostesses and servers.
The couple reside in Jacksonville, Fla., where the groom is completing flight training in the U.S. Navy.
