Schmidtberger-Vogt

Kristine Leona Schmidtberger and Mark Justin Vogt were married Feb. 22, 2003, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence with the Rev. James Shaughnessy officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Evelyn Schmidtberger, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Lon and Maureen Vogt, Hartley, Iowa.

Matron of honor was Karen Ingersoll. Bridesmaid was Laura Beth West. Best man was Robert Mueller. Groomsman was Ryan Lux. Ushers were Jason Ingersoll, James Vogt and Kyle Vogt.

Flower girl was Jenna DeBoer. Ring bearer was Ian Raddatz. Candle lighter was Nathan Jenkins. Readers were Marsha Jenkins and Marla Steinbeck. Greeters were Donna and Keith Steinbeck. Program attendants were Tressa DeBoer and Michelle Stockwell. Organist was Mark Holmberg. Soloist was Alfred Lata.

Lara Holmberg’s String Quartet played during dinner at the reception at Alvamar Country Club. Scott Simpson was disc jockey for the dance. Wedding coordinator was Elizabeth Beckner.

The bride is an application developer for Burns and McDonnell, Kansas City, Mo. The groom is a software engineer for Garmin International Inc., Olathe.

After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple reside in Mission.

Meyer-Thompson

Jennifer Meyer and Aaron Thompson, both of Lawrence, were married March 15, 2003, at First Church of Nazarene in Lawrence with the Rev. Donald Dunn officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Diane Meyer, Scotland, S.D. The groom is the son of Jeff Thompson, Pomona, and Brenda Thompson, Lawrence.

Maid of honor was Roxanne Bittner. Best man was Adam Hoffsommer. Bridesmaids were Virginia Meyer, Sarah Meyer and Amy Thompson. Groomsmen were Justin Meyer, Nathan Meyer and Amit Sharma. Caylan Vickers was flower girl. David Meyer was ring bearer. Ushers were Tim Oliver and Jason Long.

The bride graduated from Scotland High School in Scotland, S.D., and Moody Bible Institute, Chicago. She works for Miguel’s La Familia.

The groom is a graduate of Pomona High School and Kansas University. He works for NCS Pearson.

The couple reside in Lawrence.
