The game: Allen turned a nice game into a huge game with a 98-yard touchdown at the end of Free State’s 34-23 win against Leavenworth last Friday. The bobbing and weaving run not only put the game out of the reach for the Pioneers, but left Allen a season-high 161 rushing yards on 14 carries.

Comment: “He’s just a tough, hard-nosed football player,” FSHS coach Bob Lisher said. “He plays hard every down and doesn’t even like to come out and take a break. He gets upset when he makes a mistake, but he just plays so hard that he sets a good example for everyone else.”
