A support group for people who experience chronic pain has moved from LMH Health to The Windsor, an assisted living facility at 3220 Peterson Road.

Annie Ross, a certified peer specialist in Lawrence who runs the group, said the hospital could no longer house the group’s meetings, and that since switching to The Windsor, the group has doubled in size. At LMH Health, the group consisted of about seven people. The first meeting at The Windsor had about 15 people, Ross said, because some residents joined in.

Ross said she is “delighted that we are able to reach more people.”

The group meets the second and fourth Mondays of every month from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and is an opportunity for people with chronic pain to gather, discuss and learn from one another’s experiences, Ross said.
