Those who want to see what this year’s Sundance Film Festival has to offer need look no further than downtown Lawrence.

Liberty Hall, 644 Massachusetts St., was selected as one of seven independently owned art house cinemas across the U.S. to be a satellite screening partner for the 2022 Sundance Film Festival, according the festival’s website. Each of the selected cinemas will introduce a curated selection of the 2022 festival lineup to their audiences in-person during the festival’s final weekend, Jan. 28-30.

Liberty Hall is hosting the screenings in partnership with mama.film. Nine films will be screened throughout the weekend, beginning the afternoon of Friday, Jan. 28, and ending the evening of Sunday, Jan. 30, according to the screening schedule.

Tickets are $10 and may be purchased in person at the Liberty Hall box office or online at goelevent.com/mamafilm/e/List. Theater capacity has been limited to 50%, and Liberty Hall highly recommends advance purchase of tickets. Masks and proof of vaccination with matching identification are required for entry.
