Vic and Colleen (Trzicky) will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on February 28, 2019. Following graduation from Munden High School, Vic attended Cloud County Community College and Colleen attended Brown Mackie. They were united in marriage at the Methodist Church in Munden, Kansas. Soon after their wedding, Vic and Colleen began careers at the University of Kansas. They remained at the university until their retirements; Vic as Captain with the KU Police Department and Colleen as an Accountant IV in the Comptroller Office. They continue to reside in Lawrence. An anniversary celebration is planned by their daughter, Renee Strnad, and son-in-law, Scot Pressley, on March 2, in Lawrence.
