After meeting on a blind date that almost didn’t happen, Karla Rose Goebel and Paul Ward Wallace, Jr. were wed on August 13, 1977 at Danforth Chapel on the beautiful University of Kansas campus. This Sunday will mark their 40th Anniversary. They are the wonderful parents to daughters Bridget (Paul) Brigham of Merrimack, NH and Abigail (Shawn) Barnes of Denver, CO. They are also the proud Grandma and GrandPaul/ Boy Grandma to four amazing grandchildren; Ezra Brigham, Joah Brigham, Eliah Brigham, and Autumn Barnes. When not traveling between New Hampshire and Colorado to visit family, the two enjoy watching Jayhawk Basketball and spending time with their newest addition to the family, Sadie.
