Lauren Oberzan and Devin Byrne of Lawrence, Kansas, have announced their en­gagement. The future bride is the daughter of John Oberzan and Karen Oberzan, both of Lawrence, Kansas, and the future groom is the son of Jay and Peggy Byrne of Leavenworth, Kansas. Lauren is a 2006 graduate of Free State High School, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas. She graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State Uni­versity College of Law, and is employed as an Associate with Barber Emerson law firm in Lawrence, Kansas. Devin is a 2006 gradu­ate of Immaculata High School, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Account­ing from the University of Kansas. He is em­ployed as an Analyst at the Sprint headquarters in Overland Park, Kan­sas. An October 2016 wedding is planned in Lawrence.
