Kelley Shivers of Garden City Kansas, along with David and Brandi Dickerson of Leawood Kansas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Shivers to Lukas Demel. Lukas is the son of Maurice Demel and Lois Demel of Claflin Kansas.
Lukas graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology, and from Kansas University with a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical studies. He is currently completing a doctor of pharmacy degree at Kansas University with anticipated graduation in May 2015. He is a pharmacy intern at Overland Park Regional
Medical Center, Overland Park.
His fiance Jessica graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in family studies and human services, and from Avila University in Kansas City with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence.
A November 8th wedding is planned at Abe and Jake’s Landing, Lawrence Kansas.
